This will return back an XML document which contains just an "HR" - HipRank. HipRank is SearchHippo's overall ranking and popularity of a particular site/page. This is partially algorithmic so "nonexistant" pages could have HipRanks - you can easily figure out what yours would be, or if we know about a site.

The value of 'u' that you pass in *must be* properly urlencoded! also be sure to include the protocol (http://, gopher://, etc.)!

HipRank is a number from -1 to 100. -1 means the site is unknown. '100' is the most popular. Some examples:
